Stoddart Avenue Community Garden

Please join us to kick off our 11th growing season.  We will be planting an apple tree in our orchard, spreading wood chips, picking up litter on our lots and around the neighborhood, replacing metal fence posts with 4x4 fence posts, hanging some fence, transplanting raspberry bushes, daisies, and strawberry plants, turning compost and repairing a compost bin.   Weather permitting, we will also plant some cold crops in our neighbor bed (where anyone can help themselves) and our food pantry plot.  To date, we have donated over 4800 pounds of fresh produce to Faith Mission and area food pantries.   AND we always feed our volunteers well:-)
