About
This site is the confluence of the Olentangy River and the Scioto River. It is a site that especially at lower water levels contains lots of plastic and styrofoam. We will remove trash along the riverbank and bike trail starting at the Boathouse restaurant.
Note: We have 20 people total max capacity that can come but this will be staggered out into two shifts 15 minutes apart. Each group will go into different directions and clean up different areas of the park. Socially distancing will be in place within each of the groups as well to ensure that people outside of each household stay 6 feet apart.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
