About
This tree planting will be open to the church and local community to get involved for Earth Day! Approximately 400 trees will be planted within the First Community Church North Property to enhance the lawns and areas around the gardens. This event is sponsored by Green Columbus with partners including First Community Church Environmental Justice group and MAD Scientist Associates. Come join us and make a difference!
Note: If there is bad weather on Sunday April 10th, the tree planting will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 16th at 10am-2pm.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
