Founded in 1848 Green Lawn Cemetery is one of oldest and largest in Ohio. Over 300 acres is size, it is a vast treasure of history and final resting place of many central Ohio founding families, U.S. presidential families, governors, artists, actors, and others from all walks of life. The grounds feature a pre-European settlement mixed oak forest, including several state champion trees! Green Lawn Cemetery is a registered arboretum, as well as an Ohio Audubon Important Bird Area.
