About

We are so excited! We are recycling waste by building a greenhouse out of plastic bottles with a fiber glass corrogated roof!! But it takes a lot of bottles - about 1000 - and they need to be cut and threaded on rebar. And then made into the walls. We are also attaching two water barrels to each side so that we will have some water without crossing a public way.

Bethany Bronzeville Community Garden serves the weekly lunch program for the hungry (115 - 200) who come to the church each week for a hot meal and fellowship. This greenhouse will enable us to provide more produce for a longer period for these meals.
