About

Come help us get our youth gardens ready for the spring and summer season!!

The University District Freedom School is an 8-week social-justice and literacy based  summer program that features a unique, "from scratch" vegan soul food menu.  Through our Food Justice program, facilitated by Jazzy Greens, LLC we promote organic food access for all, sustainable food systems, and environmental stewardship. We have decided to take on a second garden space next door to help encourage youth gardening initiatives as well.

Be sure to bring a bottled water and a "jazz in the park" type of chair due to limited seating.

We value your help, and can't wait to meet you!
