Hopefully creating the second annual Confluence park RiverBank and bike trail clean up.

Hello, my name is Alex Roller-Knapp.  I am organizing an event to clean up litter at confluence park.  This will be a physical clean up event to remove trash along the river bank and bike trail starting at the Boathouse restaurant.

Hoping to schedule the event for april the 14th with April 21st being a rain delay day or backup event time.

Last year this event was held at the boathouse restaurant parking lot.  There was a few different communities involved and 28 people showed up to help with the effort.  KCB keep Columbus beautiful was another part of the event for providing Tools garbage bags and removal of the garbage collected.

Along the river bank at confluence park there is an eddy current on the olentangy.  This eddy current traps many floatable trash items at higher river levels.  This leaves tons of floatable plastics and styrofoam in the same place on the river bank at lower water levels.
